Product Description:
Lithium is used to treat and prevent episodes of mania (frenzied, abnormally excited mood) in people with bipolar disorder (manic-depressive disorder; a disease that causes episodes of depression, episodes of mania, and other abnormal moods).This medication is used to treat manic-depressive disorder (bipolar disorder). It works to stabilize the mood and reduce extremes in behavior by restoring the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain.

Product Application:
- This medication is used to treat manic-depressive disorder (bipolar disorder). It works to stabilize the mood and reduce extremes in behavior by restoring the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain.
Product Procedure:
- Initially 300mg twice daily; titrate by 300mg weekly. Usual acute goal: usually 600–1500mg in divided doses daily. Usual maintenance goal: 600–1200mg
Product Note:
- Raman spectroscopy was used to study the molecular relaxation processes in lithium carbonate (Li2CO3). It has been established that in crystalline carbonate Li2CO3, the first-order structural phase transition has an extended character. The existence of a pretransition region in the carbonate Li2CO3 studied here was found.
