CHROMIUM METAL POWDER

Product Description:

Chromium is used to harden steel, for the production of stainless steel and several useful alloys. Depending on the class of stainless steel, the chromium content varies from 10% to 27% to improve the hardness as well as resistance to oxidation. It is also employed to impart an emerald green color to the glass.

Product Application:

Chromium is used as a hardener in steel , for the manufacturer of stainless steel and many useful alloys . It is also employed to give glass an emrald green colour . Chromium does not oxide in air , even in extreme moisture . Chromium metal is also an fundamental ingredient in various types of  super alloys  which are essential essential to the aerospace and nuclear power industries .

Product Procedure:
Product Note:
The melting/boiling point of transition metals are usually higher compared to the alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, and nonmetals, which is why the range of elements compared to chromium differed between comparisons
Most common oxidation states of chromium are in bold. The right column lists a representative compound for each oxidation state.
Any color of corundum (disregarding red) is known as a sapphire. If the corundum is red, then it is a ruby. Sapphires are not required to be blue corundum crystals, as sapphires can be other colors such as yellow and purple .

in corundum (aluminium oxide, Al2O3), pink sapphire or ruby is formed, depending on the amount of chromium.
