Mixed Bed Resins is a mixture of cation and anions are used as polishers to obtain low conductivity water. Typically, low conductivity water is required for boiler feed for high pressure boilers, electronics, electrical discharge cutting machines and pharmaceutical applications. Mixed Bed can also be used as a primary de ionisation unit when the inlet salt is low. Mixed Beds also find applications in process industry where de mineralization of pH sensitive products is to be carried out.

D'Limonene is obtained as a product of the citrus. It is the major component of the oil extracted from the rinds of citrus fruits. It is lighter than water, and is usually colorless and considered a combustible liquid. It is not soluble in water hence it can be used in typical water separation units. Depending on the composition, d'limonene can dissolve in solvents and surfactants. As a straight solvent, d'limonene can replace many types of products such as fluorinated and chlorinated organic solvents, acetone, MEK (methyl ethyl ketone), mineral spirits, glycol ethers, and toluene. 

Ethylene diamine is the organic compound with the formula C2H4(NH2)2. This colorless liquid with an ammonia-like odor is a strongly basic amine. It is a widely used building block in chemical synthesis. Ethylene diamine readily reacts with moisture in humid air to produce a corrosive, toxic and irritating mist, to which even short exposures can cause serious damage to health.
