First of all flush the system with cold water to prevent evaporation  rates and polymerization then the most economical of using this  chemical is by direct  injection  followed by recirculation washing,using tank cleaning machines.

• How it is used on Pet coke?

It can be concentrated or by  dilution  up to 5-10%  depends on the deposit s and contamination by spraying  it on the entire surface area and let it absorb it on for 15-20  minutes,then wash with fresh or sea water.
