Application of Membrane Cleaner ORG 77 Iron Cleaning Membrane Cleaner
- Desalination plants (SWRO and BWRO).
- Power plants, boiler make-up, and cooling tower RO pretreatment units.
- Food, beverage, and pharmaceutical water systems.
- Municipal and industrial water treatment plants.
- Any membrane system affected by iron fouling or light carbonate scaling.
How to use Membrane Cleaner for most efficient RO membrane cleaning procedure
- Prepare a 4% w/w solution in chlorine-free permeate water (1 kg ORG-77 per 25 kg water).
- Circulate at ≤35 °C for 2–3 hours, depending on fouling severity.
- Replace solution if it turns red/brown (indicating iron saturation).
- After cleaning, flush system thoroughly with permeate until pH matches inlet water.
- Neutralize spent solution with alkali before disposal.
